Hone Your Writing Skills And Overcome Your Writer's Block

August Story Challenge

Let August be the month of creativity for you. We bring to you 4 prompts for writing stories. However, it comes with a twist. Each prompt is a dialogue; use it to start the story, or you can use it to end it or somewhere in the middle to bring that plot twist.

August Poem Challenge

This August, we bring you 8 writing prompts that are actually moods. Write poems inspired by each of these moods. What makes you feel while you are going through that particular mood and what is that specific thing that transits you into that certain mood? Be as creative and as descriptive as possible.

August Snippet Challenge

For this month's Snippet Writing Challenge, we bring 15 prompts to you. Write a snippet in 320 characters, and make the micro-fiction as enjoyable as possible.

Ode To Siblings

"Siblings are the people we practice on, the people who teach us about fairness and cooperation and kindness and caring, quite often the hard way."

-Pamela Dugdale

Siblings are the only people who have known you all your life and will continue to know you. Your siblings remain the same when jobs, pets, and significant others come and go. They will understand exactly what you mean when you complain about your parents. Siblings are put on this Earth to love, entertain, and annoy each other, and it's part of their job requirements.

That means opening up to the joy they can bring us and being grateful when they do. It also means making peace with those siblings who get on our last nerve and forgiving the ones who contributed to whatever complex we may have. Because that's what grown-up siblings do. This challenge is a chance for you to do such that. Write something inspired by your siblings.

India Of Your Dreams Challenge

Every year, August 15th is a highly grateful day for Indians. They celebrate Independence Day and pay tribute to all liberation warriors. India will complete the 75 years of Independence on August 15th 2022; however, India will celebrate the 76th Independence day.

We bring the "India Of Your Dreams" Challenge to celebrate this year's Independence Day. Everyone has dreams of making his/her country great and democratically successful. Write a poem describing the India of your dreams.
